How To Fit Your Ecolux Blinds

Installation

Fitting your new made-to-measure blind is straightforward. It is recommended that you have the following tools when fitting your blinds. Item Checklist:

  1. Ecolux Blinds
  2. Brecket

Tools you will need:

  1. Drill
  2. Phillips screwdriver or Phillips drill bit (the one with the crossedhead)
  3. Pencil
  4. Metal Tape Measure

5 Simple step to Install your blinds

  1. Gather your tools and unpack your blind, inside the box you will find all the fixture and fittings that you will need.
  2. Now, having decided where you want the blind to be positioned mark out the drill holes using the brackets supplied, in most cases you will only need to drill 2 holes at either end. Wider blinds will need more holes drilling though extra brackets will be supplied if this is required.
  3. Drill your holes and then screw the brackets into place. You'll also need to use wall plug.

  4. Hanging the Track Take the Vertical track and starting with the central bracket, hook the front of the track into the forward lip of the bracket. Making sure the track is centre to the window. Now just click the track into place by rotating the back of the track up into the rear of the bracket. You should hear it click into place. Repeat for each bracket.IMG_4609
  5. Hanging the Slats Carrier = Hook Rotate track carriers so the hooks face to one end of the track. Spread the carriers out by drawing the cord or wand. Gently unroll slats and hook onto carriers working from one end of the track to the other. Do Not hang whilst carriers are rotated to the flush position to the track. This will cause the slats to not rotate and jam. If your track has a centre opening and chained weights., Open the slats after hanging, then gently partially open the blind and trim the chain in the centre where they are dividing.
